The company Progether AS (“Progether”, “us”, “we”, or “our”) operates progether.com (the “Site” or “Service”). This page informs you about the collection, use and disclosure of information we receive from users of this Site.


Log Data

We collect technical information that your browser sends whenever you visit our site (“Log data”). Information Collection and Storage

On this Site we will collect information about your health status and current or previous diseases. Further, we will ask you for an email address. The purpose of your email address is solely so that we can directly contact you.

The collection of health information is required for the service Progether offers to you as our user.

We take careful consideration in our data acquisition design to allow our users to stay as anonymous as possible, for example, we will only ask for country, and possible region, of residence (not your address) and age (not birthday). The only element we ask for which could potentially identify you is your email address.

The best way to ensure your email address cannot reveal your identity is to use an email address which does not contain your name or any other personal identifiable information. Also you should not use the email address provided by your employer.

For potential free text fields, you should consider whether the provided information makes yourself identifiable.

Your health information is stored in a database together with an anonymous user ID. Your email address is stored encrypted and in a separate database.

We keep you data as long as you have a user account with Progether. Without a user account we will keep data no longer than required by law or by contractual rights.


Communication, Newsletter

We may use your information to send you newsletters, questions according your health status and current or previous diseases, updates and information about the Site. We will not send promotional material for third parties products or services.

You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link or instructions provided in any email we send.


Cookies

We use cookies to make sure you have a smooth experience while visiting our website. They make our service more user friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files which can be used to store specific information in your browsers cache. Cookies can be used to identify your browser.

As user you can change how your browsers stores cookies in the browsers settings by limiting or disabling the storage of cookies. Be aware that usage of our website can be limited with disabled cookies.

To verifiy your identity, this email needs to be send from the same account which is registered at Progether.

We recommend - for privacy reasons - to not send us any personal identifiable data via email. You can rectify any information on your down, directly within our service.

We reserve the right to contact you for these matters. Be aware that we might need to retain some or all of the information request to be deleted due to legal or contractual retention periods.In those cases access to your data will be blocked.

Deletion or blocking of data might make it impossible for you to use Progether.

You may have the right to receive a copy of your personal identifiable data using a common format.

As EU citizen, you have the right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority.


Withdraw consent

You can withdraw your consent to our handling of your personal identitfiable data at any time. As the service offering from Progether is based upon your data, a withdrawl of consent is effectively a deletion of your user account.
